Auxiliary Fire Station

The fire station was location on the corner of Kings Road and Dunedin Road and was there at least during 1939 to 1945.

National Fire Service Kingstanding 1939 to 1945

Memory by Alan Hitchman

There used to be an Auxiliary fire station During the war and just after the war on the Kingstanding road between “Ryans Fields” and the “Kingstanding Pub”, so it could have been about where the library is near Dunedin Road .
